Bed & Birding partner hosts a mega rare bird from Siberia.

On 14 October 2016, Vida Laukžemiene and Kristina Abariute were very fortunate to trap and ring an adult Siberian Accentor (Prunella montanella), just five minutes drive from Minges Lodge - our Bed & Birding partner in Lithuania. More than 80 Siberian Accentors were recorded in northern Europe between 4 and 18 October 2016, marking an amazing influx of this mega rarity coming from Russia, with final numbers of as many as 212 from 4 October to 6 November 2016.
